Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is recruiting for the post of Food Safety Officer (Group-B) under the Food & Drugs Administration Department, Haryana (Advt No. 25/2026).

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in any of the following:

• Food Technology Group: Food Engineering, Processing, Biotechnology, Quality Management, etc.
• Agricultural Science Group: Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Sciences, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Medicine.
• Medical Degrees: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, or Sowa Rigpa.
• Language Requirement: Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in Matriculation or Higher Education.

Age Limit (as of 19.10.2026):

• Minimum: 18 Years
• Maximum: 42 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable for SC, BC, PwBD, ESM, and Women candidates as per Government norms.

💰 Salary & Application Fee

• Salary: Pay Scale 9300–34800 + 4200 Grade Pay (Total: Rs. 35,400/-)
• Application Fee:

  • PwBD (Haryana): NIL
  • OSC/DSC/BC-A/BC-B/ESM/EWS/Women (Haryana): Rs. 250
  • General/Others: Rs. 1000

⚙️ Selection Process

Generally follows a three-stage process:

1. Screening Test
2. Subject Knowledge Test
3. Interview (Note: The Commission may skip the screening test based on the number of applications).
