Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital (SGMH), under the Government of NCT of Delhi, is recruiting 52 Senior Residents for various medical departments on an ad-hoc basis.

• Other Specialties: Psychiatry, OBGYN, Forensic Medicine, Dermatology, Microbiology.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized university + Postgraduate Degree, Diploma, or DNB in the concerned specialty.
• Registration: Valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) is mandatory. (Proof of application accepted).
• Experience Clause: Candidates must not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency elsewhere. However, for shortage specialties (Radiology, Anaesthesia, Forensic Medicine), Non-PG candidates with 2 years of experience may be considered.
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years (as of 24 Sept 2026). Relaxations apply for OBC (3 yrs), SC/ST (5 yrs), and PwD (5 yrs).

💰 Salary & Appointment

• Pay Scale: Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 (Level 11 under 7th CPC).
• Appointment Type: Ad-hoc.
• Initial Period: 89 days or until a regular candidate joins.
