Overview

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the commencement of Round 3 (Fresh Option Entry) for UGCET 2026. This is a critical opportunity for candidates who have not yet secured a seat or wish to participate again after surrendering a previous allotment.

• Last Date to Fill/Lock Options: September 3, 2026

Who is Eligible?

• Candidates who did not receive a seat in Round 1 or Round 2.
• Candidates who surrendered their previously allotted seat (as per KEA rules).
• Candidates who selected Choice 2 (retain and participate) in Round 2.

Crucial Rule: Choice Selection

Unlike earlier rounds, Round 3 has restricted choices. Only Choice 1 (Accept & Freeze) is available. Candidates cannot select Choice 2 or Choice 3 in this round.
